Tiffany’s Jewellery

Sunday, January 31st, 2010

I have never really thought about Tiffany’s jewellery. Always out of my price range and so was never fused about receiving anything in that cute little blue box with the white ribbon that you always see on the movies. But when searching for a replacement necklace I came across a heart necklace on the Tiffany’s website that I simply adore. It is so delicate and covered in very small diamonds clustered into a heart shape. I have fallen in love with this necklace and now I really want it!! I never really knew what the attraction was before with Tiffany’s but I had a quick browse after finding this necklace and found more items that want! Check out the vintage gold key necklace, it is lovely. But however much I love this jewellery sadly I think it will always be out of my price range!!

Something a bit odd

Saturday, January 30th, 2010

I have found the greatest site for purchasing old school and unique jewellery. This site mostly sells retro t-shirts, mugs, bags and jumpers etc but you can get the odd bit of jewellery. So I thought I would share in the genius. For Christmas I bought my friend a necklace that was actually a mini cassette on silver chain. I thought this was quite funny and to my relief so did my friend and I even saw her wearing it over the festive period. There was another one which I was debating on getting which was a ‘ghetto blaster’ necklace. There are loads of great jewellery items on here is your are looking for something a bit more quirky and at very reasonable prices too. Check it out, it’s called truffleshuffle.co.uk

What do Roses Mean?

What do Roses mean?
With Valentine’s Day approaching all girls hope that they receive roses but what do different coloured roses mean?
Red is obviously the most popular rose for a present. Red roses mean love and passion and are given to a lover.
Yellow roses stand for friendship and cheerfulness; sometimes they are used for bereavements.
Orange means pride; used for a promotion or graduation of some sort.
Pink roses are more romantic without the implications of red roses.
White roses often called ‘bride’s roses’ symbolise light and purity.
Purple roses are often used for anniversaries and are very intimate, meaning everlasting love.

Hair accessories are making a big splash this summer, and from the looks it the bigger and better. Flowers, bows, hair grips and headbands are this summer’s must have. Check out ASOS for some of the best hair accessories around. These will be great for the summer festival season (especially with the slightly unwashed look you will acquire after a weekend of partying) or combine it with a little black dress for a hint of the unique. The prices on ASOS can range from about £10 to a (in my opinion) ludicrous £210! Slightly too expensive for a head accessory I reckon!

Swarovski Sale

Wednesday, January 27th, 2010

The Swarovski online shop is having a sale. Some of the rings are really beautiful so if you feel like persuading the boyfriend to treat you to something special this Valentine’s Day send him this handy link – http://www.swarovski.com/Web_GB/en/0112/category/Jewellery/Rings.html . I have always wanted some jewellery from Swarovski, I think it is really beautiful jewellery and definitely worth the price tag. When my sister in law was looking for a wedding dress there was one that she tried on with a bodice covered in Swarovski crystals, the dress was unfortunately out of her price range but was definitely a fairytale dress.

Check out the site, to be honest most of the jewellery would be a lovely present and a very welcome addition to my collection – anyone out there feeling generous?
