The best place to place your orchid is on the windowsill and you want to leave to turn bright green if you notice that the leaves are turning a slight yellow colour then move away from the windowsill to a place that is a bit more shaded.

Do not over or under water your orchid my advice is to spray the orchid once a week onto the roots. You do not want the roots to be soggy as this means you have over watered the orchid.
